The Office of Communications and Marketing provides consistent and clear communication and offers a range of services including strategic communications planning, news and feature writing, media relations and internal communication, among others.
Who We Are
The Division of Marketing & Communications develops communication strategies that reflect the university’s strategic goals. The primary goal of our office is to attract students, alumni, and donors by spreading the word about the great things that are happening at TSU. By developing advertising, direct marketing, publications, e-communications, and market research, we seek to enhance and build and maintain the brand image of Texas Southern University.
What We Do
The Division of Marketing & Communications provides creative service support - including design, writing, and photography - to Texas Southern University, as well as its colleges, departments, and programs. Requests for services must be made at least two weeks in advance of a deadline by submitting a Creative Services Request Form to Media@tamilfolksongs.com.

The goal of the Division of Communications is to serve as a fully functional, expertly staffed communications office that maintains and promotes the TSU brand by consistently and effectively implementing communications strategies and providing creative services.
